This employee-oriented, family-oriented, customer-oriented, custom industrial automation certified systems integration company is hiring a full time, permanent Mechanical Applications Engineer for Industrial Automation Equipment. There are advancement opportunities and this could grow into management, if that is of interest. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:
  • Working with the customer and sales people to understand customer needs
  • Creating automation bids for customers and cost estimates
  • Creating 2D or 3D designs
  • Revising proposals
  • Some traveling to customer sites
 
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
  • Eight or more years of mechanical engineering experience with custom products
  • Three or more years of industrial automation experience
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • A strong understanding of the theory of mechanics
  • Possess a solid work history
  • Being a US citizen or green card holder
  • Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
