Manufacturing Engineering Manager

The Engineering Manager is responsible for manufacturing support in all aspects of engineering. Accountability includes process creation and improvement, efficiency enhancements, procedural documentation, trial coordination, aid in process development, root cause identification and rectification of current manufacturing limitations, robotics, and mechanical troubleshooting. This role will also lead the Maintenance function.

• Selection, training, development, and management of facility’s technical team.
• Capital project planning and execution.
• Provide manufacturing support to Operations.
• Manage and lead ongoing cost reduction efforts.
• Coordinate maintenance projects.
• Develop and implement proper production process procedures.
• Manage maintenance and process engineering personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health and safety procedures and other regulations in the maintenance department.
• Assist in developing a culture among all associates which emphasize cooperation, ownership and accountability for quality, and defect-free products.

Requirements:

• BS in Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Understanding and knowledge of PLC controlled production lines.
• Familiarity with environmental, health and safety regulations.
• 5-10 years in a similar manufacturing environment.
