This company continues to invest in their facility and grow their team! They have multiple openings for Maintenance Supervisors to work on 2nd or 3rd shifts to oversee mechanics and electricians. The Maintenance Supervisor will report to a Maintenance Manager and will have up to 15 direct reports. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the following duties:
This company continues to invest in their facility and grow their team! They have multiple openings for Maintenance Supervisors to work on 2nd or 3rd shifts to oversee mechanics and electricians. The Maintenance Supervisor will report to a Maintenance Manager and will have up to 15 direct reports. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the following duties:
- Coordinating cross-functional teams to maximize safety, quality, delivery and cost initiatives
- Developing and leading a staff of maintenance technicians and electricians
- Assisting staff with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Completing plant preventative maintenance programs, including coordination, scheduling and ensuring completion
- Managing plant work requests and delegating assignments to the maintenance team
- Ensuring maintenance staff has adequate training
- Participating in 5S, TPM and clean operations initiatives
- Maintaining and ordering maintenance inventory
- Finding cost savings and process improvements
- Other duties as directed by the manager
This position requires candidates to be on the manufacturing floor up to 50% of their day. Candidates should enjoy working in a team environment, communicating with and leading the hourly maintenance workforce, holding others accountable, participating in group projects and goals and improving processes and procedures. Requirements for the Maintenance Supervisor:
1. A Bachelor’s degree is required
2. At least one year of maintenance supervision experience
3. Experience overseeing others in technical positions
4. Strong mechanical troubleshooting
5. Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
