Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney with 4+ years of experience to join our dynamic team in Texas. This position is not remote and requires the attorney to work from one of our four office locations across the state. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and be capable of managing cases from inception through trial. You will be responsible for developing legal strategies, conducting discovery, drafting pleadings and motions, attending court appearances, and representing clients in various litigation matters.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, including commercial disputes, contract claims, and other complex litigation cases.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct depositions, prepare witnesses, and represent clients in hearings and trials.
• Negotiate settlements and explore alternative dispute resolution methods when appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys and support staff across our multiple office locations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and advise on case developments and legal strategies.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Texas State Bar.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Proven trial experience and strong litigation skills.
