Job Description

Directly assists the Department Manager in planning and organizing the activities of the technical section of the Radiation Oncology Department to ensure provision of safe, cost effective, quality radiation therapy services. Responsible for administration of the quality assurance program for the department (includes assisting with final chart review). In the absence of the Dept Manager, directs the activities of the department. Performs simulations and delivers therapeutic ionizing radiation to the patient as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologists. Assists the physician and fellow employees in providing optimum care and treatment to the patients. Serves as 4Clinical Coordinator for the OHSU, Argosy and Washburn Radiation Therapy programs. Teaches, supervises and evaluates the radiation therapy students.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiation Therapy Technology program.
  • Oregon Radiation Therapist License upon hire.
  • National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
  • 3 years full time experience as a radiation therapist in clinical radiation oncology.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $110,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
