Our client, a top AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate to join their Labor & Employment Department in Los Angeles or San Francisco. This role involves representing employers in employment law matters, including both litigation and advisory work.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Active California Bar license required.
- 3+ years of experience representing employers in employment law matters, with a minimum of two years specific to California.
- Strong background in discrimination, retaliation, harassment law, and wrongful discharge actions.
- Familiarity with wage and hour law and class action experience.
- Law firm experience with superb writing, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ambition, drive, and team-orientation to support and grow the national practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent employers in employment law litigation and provide advisory services.
- Handle matters related to discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful discharge, wage and hour law, and class actions.
- Draft legal documents and develop case strategies.

Compensation:
Salary will range between $245,000 and $390,000, depending on experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
