ASSOCIATE – LABOR & EMPLOYMENT

Our client, a top AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate to join their Labor & Employment Department in Los Angeles or San Francisco. This role involves representing employers in employment law matters, including both litigation and advisory work.

Candidate Profile:

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Active California Bar license required.
• 3+ years of experience representing employers in employment law matters, with a minimum of two years specific to California.
• Strong background in discrimination, retaliation, harassment law, and wrongful discharge actions.
• Familiarity with wage and hour law and class action experience.
• Law firm experience with superb writing, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ambition, drive, and team-orientation to support and grow the national practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent employers in employment law litigation and provide advisory services.
• Handle matters related to discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful discharge, wage and hour law, and class actions.
• Draft legal documents and develop case strategies.

Compensation:
Salary will range between $245,000 and $390,000, depending on experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
