We are seeking an IT Support Technician for a direct hire employee role with our client headquartered in Bound Brook, NJ, with clients in the NYC metro area for day travel. Compensation depends upon experience level. 4+ years of IT Support experience, specifically working within an MSP environment handling MS Windows & Azure, networking.
Our client is looking for candidates with excellent customer service skills, a minimum of 4 years’ experience working in an MSP environment, experience with RMM and PSA tools and are willing to travel to client locations when needed, including NYC. Responsibilities will include handling all aspects of IT support and consulting for multiple clients in a variety of industries, using the most advanced technologies.
Support will be related to:
• IP networking, (DNS, DHCP, etc.)
• Network Security
• Firewall Deployment and Management
• Wireless Access Points
• Network printers and scanners
• RDP, RDS, AVD
• VOIP
• Active Directory, Group Policy
• Office 365 Administration
• Azure AD
• Keeping accurate notes and time entries in our ticketing system
• Updating client documentation as needed
• Managed Switches (Dell, Cisco)
• Managing Multi-Factor authentication (DUO)
• Configuration and management of SonicWALL Firewalls
• Network breach investigation, ransomware, virus, business email compromise
• Secure Mobile Access Appliances
• Business Continuity – (Datto, Veeam, Azure)
• VPN
• IDS/IPS
• IP networking, (DNS, DHCP, etc.)
• Network Security

• Previous MSP Experience is a plus
• Microsoft 365 Administration

• Deploying, troubleshooting, and managing Windows Server and Desktop environments.
• Virtual computing platforms / VMware / Hyper-V a plus
• Passion, enthusiasm, and commitment to ongoing professional development
• Previous MSP Experience is a plus
