We are seeking a IT Support Engineer for a direct hire employee role with our client headquartered in Bound Brook, NJ, with clients in the NYC metro area for day travel. Compensation depends upon experience level. 4+ years of IT Support experience, specifically working within an MSP environment handling MS Windows & Azure, IP networking, with PSA (Professional Services Automation) and RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tools experience.

Our Ideal Candidate will have:
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Minimum 4 years experience working in an MSP environment, supporting clients both remotely and in person.
• Current industry certifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Passion, enthusiasm, and commitment to ongoing professional development
• Excellent knowledge of industry standard software and technologies.
• The ability to effectively manage their time.
• Experience with RMM and PSA tools.
• Willingness to travel to client locations when required, including New York City.
Desired Skillsets:
• A practical understanding of the OSI model to be able to identify and troubleshoot issues rapidly and efficiently
• IP networking, (DNS, DHCP, etc.)
• Network Management and Security – Dell and Cisco platforms
• Firewall Deployment and Management including SonicWALL
• VPN and VLAN experience
• Wireless Access Points
• Device Management -Mobile Security, Network printers and scanners
• Deploying, troubleshooting, and managing Windows Server and Desktop environments.
• Virtual computing platforms / VMware / Hyper-V
• Active Directory, Group Policy
• Office 365 Administration, migration from on-prep to Office365 email.
• Azure AD, Sync, Server Management
• Backup and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) – Datto, Veeam, and Azure
