We are recruiting for an IT QA Manager for our Healthcare Client in New York City (10017). This would be a Full-Time (Direct Hire) position, compensation depends on experience. 7+years of Oracle HCM experience preferred.
The IT Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for ensuring that solutions enable the functionality as required by the business by coordinating, planning, scripting, and performing functional, end-to-end, performance, and other tests and serves as a lead test manager for Oracle cloud HCM implementation. Responsible for Unit testing, Integration testing and User Acceptance Test (UAT) for all Oracle HCM modules. Coordinate activities of Test Team. Develop test scenarios and scripts and document defects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage quality of the overall solution and artifacts developed by the Pod team
- Assess and track the quality of technical specifications and ensure that they are in line with business/customer expectations
- Maintain responsibility for quality control of technical design documents, solution code, and training materials
- Act as key point of contact for all quality assurance (QA) aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating with all involved teams including development, QA, and other release management teams
- Provide oversight of testing teams and their scope of activity
- Oversee comprehensive test case development, test data repository management, test plan development
- Review test cases for detail and correctness
- Provide centralized reporting for all defects/incidents using standard tools
- Create and update test summary artifacts
- Develop, maintain, and execute automation of test scripts
- Write and execute automated checks, and identify, analyze, and report bugs
- Escalate issues as needed while communicating status and risks to management
- Work with IT Business Partners and appropriate stakeholders to form acceptance criteria
- Work with IT Business Partners and appropriate stakeholders to support and gather feedback from user acceptance testing
Minimum Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or other technically relevant degree and 7-9 years of related experience
- 7+years of Oracle HCM experience
- Strong experience across the Oracle HCM modules including Core HR, Self-Service, Payroll, Advanced Benefits, Oracle HR Helpdesk, Oracle Absence Management, Oracle Recruiting and Talent Management, Oracle Performance Management
Minimum Related Experience
- 7+years of Oracle HCM experience
- Minimum Computer Skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
