Seeking an IT Project Manager (PM) that has experience managing ERP & HCM projects. This person will work primarily on Finance, HR, Legal, Procurement and Supply Chain projects. Reporting to the G&A IT Business Partner, this role will coordinate the efforts of a team of stakeholders across all levels of the company, as well as external partners. The IT PM will manage a variety of initiatives including implementing new systems, expansion of existing applications, continuous improvements, assessments and ensuring transition to Steady State/Run organization. The ability to collaborate with staff at all levels while remaining professional, proactive, organized, resourceful, and efficient, is critical to this role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project Management of Oracle Cloud Financials, Procurement and Supply Chain, UKG HCM and other SaaS (Software as a Service) projects.
- Manages multiple projects involving internal staff and external partners.
- Follows the methodologies and standards for IT project management and implementation.
- Develops and maintains project artifacts (project charter, integrated project plan, communication plan, resource plan, RAID log, etc).
- Ensures deliverables of the project life cycle are adhered to (Scope, timeline, cost and quality).
- Consistently briefs stakeholders on project status via regularly scheduled meetings or Steering Committee when necessary.
- Publishes project status reports and meeting minutes.
- Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years experience in Information Technology
- 5+ years of Project Management of Oracle Cloud or Oracle EBS and HCM projects
- Experience supporting Finance and HR required; strong preference given to those who have also supported Legal, and Procurement projects
- Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences experience required
- Knowledge of current IT project and services processes and methodologies
- Proficient in the use of technologies especially the MS Office Suite (i.e.: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Visio)
- Proficient in the use of PPM (Project Portfolio Mgmt.) software and/or able to learn new software quickly
- The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, as well as part of a high-functioning team
- Analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent organizational capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management
- Experience working in Biotech or Pharmaceutical organizations
- PMP Certification would be considered a strong plus
