The IT Manager, Bakery Business Systems position can be worked from a location in Twin Falls, ID or Indianapolis, IN and is responsible for managing the operational support, maintenance, incident management, and continuous improvement development activities for the Business systems used in the bakery locations—including Oracle JDE EnterpriseOne (E1) ERP, RFGen Barcode/Mobile Collection, Somax CMMS, other related “bolt on” systems, and integrations between systems.


Position is responsible for appropriate staffing, supervision, and performance management of the Bakery Business Systems Team.  The position combines managerial responsibilities with in-depth hands-on technical and functional expertise.  The manager works with IT, business leaders, consultants, and end users to resolve issues, implement solutions from concept through implementation, and provides ongoing support and training.



Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure personal safety, food safety and quality protocols are followed.
  • Lead team to provide primary support for Wonderware and related systems including system integrations.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% to manage team members and projects in other locations.
  • Provide direction to team including day-to-day activities, ongoing development, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Prioritize incoming requests and incidents, assists in prioritizing key initiatives, and communicates system changes to stakeholders prior to deployment of new solutions.
  • Provide leadership and ownership of team’s projects, assigning appropriate team members to projects and incidents to ensure milestones and goals are met.
  • Continuously assesses project blockers and constraints and provides feedback to manager.
  • Collaborate with business leads, end users, IT, and consultants on tasks and projects to analyze requirements, provide recommendations, and deliver solutions.
  • Directly contributes to high priority initiatives and incidents—including analysis, design, build, and documentation.
  • Maintain process, data flow, and integration documentation in area of responsibility.
  • Ensure team’s adherence to established policies and procedures for documentation and change management.




  • Four-year B.S. degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Enterprise systems (ERP), Mobile Barcode and Data Collection systems, CMMS/EAM systems, other related “bolt on” systems, and integrations between systems.
  • At least 3 years’ management experience or supervisory equivalent (leading and managing a team including prioritizing, balancing, and assigning work to meet department and business objectives.)
  • Experience taking ownership of and managing small to mid-sized cross-functional projects including all resources, timelines, and tasks from initial planning through project close.
  • Capable of creating new solutions to problems or business needs based on past experiences, networking, and research.
  • Experience with IT project management, including implementation methodology and change control processes and documentation.
  • Capable of creating and defining complex operational processes and procedures.
  • Local or willing to relocate to the Indianapolis or Twin Falls area upon hire. Willing to travel to a secondary location when needed. Relocation assistance is provided.

The Technical Expertise You Bring

  • Broad, deep functional knowledge, experience and understanding of best practices with JDE E1 Manufacturing, Planning, PDM, Inventory, Procurement, and Sales modules—including Accounting integration.
  • Experience supporting ERP and related systems including business processes in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Experience integrating E1 with other critical “bolt on” systems and applications.
  • Knowledge and experience with barcoding and mobile data collection systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word.
