Job Title: Internist/Internal Medicine Physician
Location: Natchez, Mississippi
Salary: This position offers a highly competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including a base salary along with an incentive bonus. Additional compensation is provided for supervising advanced practice providers (APPs). The position also offers significant medical education debt assistance, vacation and CME time off that increases with tenure, and a commencement bonus.
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Internist/Internal Medicine Physician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing inpatient and outpatient care, with a focus on adult patients. The average workload will be 20-25 patients per day per provider, with no call required.
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions
– Provide comprehensive patient care, including physical exams and medical screenings
– Monitor and assess patient progress, while developing and implementing treatment plans
– Address patient and family concerns, providing education and support
– Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies as needed
– Collaborate with other staff and departments on cases
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
– Adhere to professional standards and regulations
– Provide comprehensive patient care, including physical exams and medical screenings

Qualifications:
– MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
– Board certified in Internal Medicine
– Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine
– Positive bedside manner and excellent communication skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Highly organized and detail-oriented

Experience and Skills:
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in an inpatient and/or outpatient medical setting
– Ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions
– Working knowledge of medical software and technology
– Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
– Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
