Job Title: Internist/Internal Medicine Physician

Location: Lafollette, Tennessee

Salary: We offer a competitive salary based on the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) guidelines, as well as incentive bonuses based on work relative value units (WRUVs). Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced, board-certified Internist/Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in Lafollette, Tennessee. The successful candidate will provide traditional inpatient and outpatient services, while also being supported by a team of advanced practitioner and medical office staff.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, treat and manage a range of medical conditions and illnesses

• Prescribe medications, therapies and other treatments

• Conduct regular patient examinations

• Order and interpret medical tests

• Provide preventative care and health education

• Assess and document patient progress

• Keep detailed and accurate medical records

• Adhere to all applicable medical and legal regulations

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited school

• Board certification in Internal Medicine

• Active and unrestricted medical license in Tennessee

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Highly organized and detail-oriented

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum four (4) years of experience in internal medicine

• Experience with electronic health record software

• Knowledge of current healthcare practices and regulations

• Excellent clinical judgement and decision-making skills

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
