Job Title: Internist/Family Medicine Physician
Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico

Job Summary: We are searching for an experienced Internist/Family Medicine Physician to join our team in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary care to our diverse patient population, while also helping to provide teaching opportunities to those interested in learning.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Provide patient-centered care within a family practice setting
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic diseases
• Perform routine physical exams and preventive health screenings
• Prescribe and manage medications
• Order and interpret tests
• Counsel and educate patients on a variety of medical conditions
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary
• Stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements

Qualifications:
• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine
• Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine
• Exceptional bedside manner with excellent communication skills
• Able to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
• Commitment to providing high quality patient-centered care

Experience and Skills:
• At least two years of experience in Family Medicine
• Knowledge of current clinical best practices
• Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently
• Computer literacy and knowledge of EMR systems
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
