Job Title: Intensivist/Critical Care Physician
Location: Dothan, AL
Salary: This role offers a comprehensive financial package with a competitive salary based on MGMA guidelines and commencement bonus. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Intensivist/Critical Care Physician to join our medical team and provide high-quality care for our patients. You will be responsible for treating and managing critically ill patients in a 32 bed ICU and helping maintain the open ICU. This role requires a 7 on/7 off schedule.
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Provide leadership and medical direction to the ICU team
– Monitor and assess critically ill patients
– Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and progress
– Develop and implement treatment plans
– Communicate with patients and families
– Provide guidance and mentorship to other staff
– Participate in research and training initiatives

Qualifications:
– MD/DO degree
– Active medical license in AL
– Board certification in Critical Care Medicine (Internal Medicine)
– At least 5 years of experience in critical care medicine
– Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
– Active medical license in AL

Experience and Skills:
– Advanced knowledge of critical care medicine
– Proficient in the use of medical software and databases
– Ability to respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies
– High level of empathy, compassion, and professionalism
– Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
