I&C Designer 
 

General / Experience: 5-10 years of experience with the design and layout of instrument and control systems for oil and gas, refining, pipeline facilities.

 

Technical Capabilities:

  1. Ability to specify and complete data sheets for general instruments.
  2. Ability to size conduit and wire for low voltage instrument and control circuits (600 volts and less).
  3. Familiar with terminal boxes, marshalling cabinets, conduit fittings and materials required for instrument connections.
  4. Familiar with loop diagrams, instrument indexes, P&ID’s, panel schedules, wiring and connection diagrams.
  5. Familiar with equipment including Distributed Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, Single Loop Controllers, power supplies.
  6. Ability to lay out and wire control panels, with some supervision.
  7. Ability to develop instrument location plans.
  8. Ability to wire PLC, DCS and analyzer loops.
  9. Ability to develop Bill of Materials (BOM) from scaled instrument drawings

 

Salary Rage $90-$140K
