Job Title: Hematologist/Oncologist
Location: Gadsden, Alabama

Job Summary: We are looking for a board-certified/board-eligible Hematologist/Oncologist to join our team in Gadsden, Alabama. This position includes a mix of inpatient and outpatient duties, with a 1:2 call. We have a large, new office very near the hospital campus.
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of hematological and oncological conditions
– Perform and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies
– Educate and counsel patients
– Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care
– Prescribe medications and treatments
– Document patient information in medical record
– Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Qualifications:
– Board-certified/board-eligible in Hematology/Oncology
– Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Alabama
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively
– Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
– Knowledge of evidence-based practice guidelines

Experience and Skills:
– Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Hematologist/Oncologist
– Experience in an outpatient setting preferred
– Specialty experience in hematology and oncology
– Proficiency in use of EMR and other healthcare technologies
