About Us: Join our team as a Safety & Health Behavioral-Based Specialist in Shenandoah Valley. We’re seeking professionals with Process Safety Management (PSM) expertise and a strong focus on Behavior-Based Safety to drive EHS excellence while connecting with employees on the plant floor at our manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Lead EHS inspections and audits.
• Develop policies and programs aligned with regulations.
• Coach plant personnel on EHS practices.
• Analyze EHS metrics, manage data collection.
• Administer EHS data systems.
• Maintain government permit records.
• Lead energy conservation and improvement projects.
• Chair safety committee.
• Mentor behavior-based safety observations.
• Contribute to emergency response planning.
• Participate in job safety analysis.
• Deliver EHS training.
• Oversee EHS record-keeping.
• Report Workers Compensation claims.
• Collaborate on light-duty opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• 3-5 years manufacturing EHS experience (5+ years overall).
• Strong manufacturing safety background.
• Proven injury reduction and EHS culture enhancement.
• Knowledge of federal and state safety and environmental laws.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proficient in multitasking.
