The Geotechnical Project Engineer will focus on both small and large scale projects. Ideal candidates will have diverse and proven geotechnical engineering experience in the New York Metropolitan area.  Candidate must have strong technical skills, ability to lead project staff and the desire to expand services of existing clients. You will perform periodic special inspections for foundation subgrades, earthwork, and deep foundations.  You will assist with the preparation of proposals, technical reports, specifications and construction plans. Qualified candidates must have previous field experience associated with subsurface investigations and foundation construction.

 

 

Required:

  • BS degree with geotechnical specialty
  • Minimum 5 years of geotechnical consulting and field inspection experience
  • Leadership and decision-making skills
  • Presentation and technical and field report-writing skills;

 

Preferred:

Masters degree in Geotechnical Engineering

NJ/NY PE License preferred or the willingness to attain PE in other states via reciprocity

Complementary skills or experience relative to our present staff

Competencies in seismic analysis, modeling, or ground improvement technologies
