Job Title: General Surgery Trauma Director

Job Summary:
We’re looking for a board-certified/board-eligible general surgery trauma director to join a large and very busy multispecialty group. The position is hospital-employed and the hospital is currently obtaining Level III Trauma Center accreditation. Anesthesia coverage is available 24/7. Office space and outreach and marketing support will be provided.

Roles and Responsibilities:
– Oversee trauma surgeries
– Manage and lead a team of medical professionals
– Ensure quality patient care
– Maintain patient safety standards
– Supervise and mentor medical staff
– Monitor and review patient charts
– Ensure compliance with medical regulations
– Develop and implement educational programs
– Manage and lead a team of medical professionals

Qualifications:
– Board-certified/board-eligible in general surgery
– Trauma experience preferred
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to manage and lead a team
– Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills
– Knowledge and understanding of medical regulations
– Commitment to patient safety

Experience and Skills:
– At least 5+ years of experience in general surgery
– Demonstrated clinical excellence
– Proficiency in the use of medical software and technology
– Proven track record of successful patient outcomes
– Knowledge of medical equipment
– Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
