Job Title: Gastroenterologist
Location: Statesboro, Georgia
Salary: This position offers a highly competitive financial package, including salary based on MGMA guidelines, incentive based on WRVUs, vacation, CME, medical insurance, malpractice insurance, life/disability insurance, and retirement benefits. Job Summary: We are seeking a Gastroenterologist to join our team in Statesboro, Georgia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of diseases related to the Gastroenterology specialty.
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Provide diagnosis and treatment of diseases related to Gastroenterology.
– Obtain patient history and perform physical examinations.
– Ensure appropriate patient follow-up.
– Coordinate with other medical specialists as needed.
– Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
– Participate in departmental activities such as educational and research activities.
– Participate in 1:3 call during the week and 1:4 call on weekends at one hospital.

Qualifications:
– Board certification in Gastroenterology.
– Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups of people.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience and Skills:
– At least three years of experience in Gastroenterology.
– Experience in EUS preferred, but not required.
– Ability to use advanced medical equipment.
– Proficient in MS Office applications.
