Job Title: Gastroenterologist

Location: Newport, Tennessee

Salary: We are offering an excellent salary package for this position, along with a generous vacation allowance and a CME allowance, malpractice, and relocation coverage. Student loan assistance is also available.

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Gastroenterologist to join our health system in Newport, Tennessee. The successful candidate will join one other physician and a nurse practitioner, and will have access to an Endo Suite and three OR suites. ERCP and/or EUS experience is not required but would be beneficial.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the gastrointestinal tract

• Perform endoscopic procedures and interpret findings

• Consult with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans

• Educate and counsel patients and their families regarding gastrointestinal health

• Provide guidance and support to medical staff

• Maintain and review patient records

Qualifications:

• Completed medical degree from an accredited institution

• Board certification in Gastroenterology

• Current license to practice in the State of Tennessee

• Proven experience in the field of Gastroenterology

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team

Experience and Skills:

• Knowledge of gastrointestinal diseases and treatments

• Understanding of anatomy and physiology

• Proficient in endoscopic procedures

• Proficient in electronic medical records

• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
