Job Title: Gastroenterologist
Location: Foley, Alabama

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Gastroenterologist to join a well-established private practice with a 25 minute drive from the beach in Foley, Alabama. The successful candidate will have an inpatient/outpatient mix and will be responsible for shared call coverage. Therapeutic endoscopy, such as ERCP, is a plus but not required.
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Diagnose and treat digestive system diseases
– Perform endoscopies and other procedures
– Provide patient education and counseling
– Develop individualized treatment plans
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
– Maintain accurate medical records

Qualifications:
– MD/DO degree in Internal Medicine
– Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
– Active Alabama medical license
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience and Skills:
– Previous experience as a Gastroenterologist, preferred
– Demonstrated technical and analytical skills
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively
– Ability to make sound clinical decisions
– Demonstrated commitment to patient care
