This full-time, permanent  Field Service Technician career opportunity is at a local, custom manufacturer and builder of machines with an international presence. The company has been in business for over sixty years and sales growth has been fifteen percent annually. The successful candidate will work in temperature controlled environments. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:
  • Preforming field service to customers
  • Traveling domestically and internationally up to 80% 
  • Participating in machine startups at customer sites
  • Training customers on operating, maintaining and repairing installed machines and equipment
  • Making safety a priority
  • Making service reports
  • Documenting
  • Resolving issues
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
  • A degree
  • Two or more years of experience repairing and maintaining manufacturing equipment
  • One or more years of experience with electrical testing equipment
  • The ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 80%
  • A valid driver’s license
  • A passport or the ability to obtain one
  • A solid work history
  • A US citizen or possess a green card
  • A residence within 45 minutes
