Job Title: Family Medicine/Geriatrician
Location: Oro Valley, Arizona

Job Summary: We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine/Geriatrician to join a large and very busy multispecialty group in Oro Valley, Arizona. This is a hospital-employed opportunity that provides a high patient volume opportunity and is open to both experienced physicians and new graduates. The schedule is flexible and you will start with one Medical Assistant and additional support will be provided as patient volume grows. Office space is also available.
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Provide primary care to patients of all ages, with a focus on geriatrics
– Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
– Manage and coordinate care plans
– Monitor and assess patient progress
– Develop and implement treatment plans
– Prescribe medications
– Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses

Qualifications:
– Degree from an accredited medical school
– Current state medical license
– Board-certified or board-eligible in family medicine/geriatrics
– Ability to work with diverse patient populations
– Excellent communication skills
– Experience with Electronic Health Records

Experience and Skills:
– Gerontology fellowship (preferred, but not required)
– Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations
– Experience working with a multidisciplinary team
– Familiarity with current medical trends and best practices
– Computer literacy
