Job Title: Pediatric Endocrinologist

Location: Savannah, GA

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced, board certified or eligible pediatric endocrinologist to join our team in Savannah, GA. This individual will provide consultative services to the pediatric floor, PICU and NICU, with a focus on Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus and AADE-accredited programs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide consultative services to the pediatric floor, PICU and NICU.

• Diagnose and treat metabolic, endocrine, and genetic disorders in the pediatric population.

• Develop a comprehensive patient care plan, including preventative care.

• Document patient encounters, including assessments, treatments, and follow-up care.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients.

• Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and treatments.

Qualifications:

• Board certified or eligible in pediatric endocrinology.

• Licensed or eligible to practice in the state of Georgia.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Proficient in the use of EHRs and other medical software.

• Commitment to patient confidentiality.

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric endocrinology.

• Demonstrated knowledge of endocrine disorders.

• Thorough understanding of patient confidentiality laws.

• Ability to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proficient in medical software and EHRs.
