Eletro Mechanical Technician

In this role you will rebuild cathode units and stab assembly. Part of the job will include troubleshooting, repairing Electron Beam guns and performing preventive maintenance.

Job Functions:

Rebuild cathode plugs assemblies, supports, and H.V stab connections.

Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance and cleaning on regular P.M. intervals, while keeping a complete list of spare parts and supplies.

Make major repairs and adjustments to the Electron Beam guns and coordinate outside repairs and machining.

Education/Experience: 

High School Diploma/GED is required; 2-year degree in trade school desired. EB furnace operator experiences desired. 

2 years’ experience with electronic maintenance and repair; machine experience and complex assembly experience helpful.

Ability to correctly use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators. Mathematical skills required. 

Must be willing to work overtime, some weekends and holidays.

Lift up to 35lbs and be able to wear a respirator.

Work Environment:

Employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and risk of radiation. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times.

Looking for entry-level to master. Pay is based on experience and starts at $30.10 an hour plus a 10% shift differential.
