ELECTRICAL Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Specify, design, and implement Control systems for new and existing equipment
  • Support new equipment being developed.
  • Design schematics, controls
  • Improve the reliability of electrical distribution
  • Manage Power Panel construction
  • Develop a plan and schedule for major outages and also support the area
  • maintenance personnel with technical expertise and training to enable them to maintain, repair and improve the reliability of their electrical equipment.
  • Provide Maintenance Engineering Support to assigned Business Areas which would include troubleshooting problems and developing and executing plans to address issues that may arise with electrical and instrument equipment.
  • Actively identifying opportunities for improvement in order to achieve specific maintenance goals and objectives. The individual will also participate in a complex-wide effort to ensure consistency of approaches, methods and measures for maintenance activities.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is prefered.
  • 5 years of industrial experience and direct experience working with voltages and equipment from 24VDC up to and including 13.8KV.
  • The candidate should have knowledge of switchgear, rectification, relaying, DCS systems,
  • AB PLC’S and Ladder Logic. AB Motion Equipment
  • Able to design CAD Schematics with protective measures.
  • Able to understand manufacturer schematics and drawings.
  • HMI software such as Panel view.
