This is a newly created, full-time, permanent Electrical Controls Engineer career opportunity at a smaller but growing, flexible systems integrator. Employees tend to stay here long-term as employees enjoy working here. The employer allows time for family. Employees are treated very well. Projects vary greatly and provide interesting work. This position is challenging and there is a variety of customers and projects. This person can be involved in controls projects to networking to ARC Flash studies and so on. Employees stay current with technology. This person will gain experience and be able to manage projects when they are able. Duties and responsibilities will include the following:
  • Programming Programmable Logic Controls, Wonderware, HMI, Rockwell, and SCADA
  • MCC, control panel and P&ID engineering
  • Traveling domestically up to 30 percent for startup and testing
 
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
  • Four or more years of PLC programming experience
  • Four or more years of control system and control panel design
  • Ability to travel up to 30 percent
  • A solid work history
  • A US citizen or possess a green card
  • A residence within 45 minutes
