Director of Nursing (RN) – Women’s Services

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

Job Overview: The Director of Nursing for Women’s Services is a dynamic leadership role responsible for the 24-hour management of the women’s health unit. This position ensures that patient care is delivered in accordance with the highest standards and that the unit operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership and direction for the Women’s Services unit.
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional care and adherence to evidence-based practices.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures that promote patient safety and quality outcomes.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize patient care and unit operations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve service delivery and patient satisfaction.
  • Oversee budgeting and financial management for the unit.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and support professional development of staff.

Required Skills and Certifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, BSN required, MSN preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience in women’s health or related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years progressive management experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
  • Current BCLS Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in nursing or healthcare administration.
  • Certification in women’s health nursing or related specialty.
  • Experience in fiscal management and healthcare economics.

Pay: $110,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
