LOCATION: Warden, WA

What they’re looking for:
•Must have HEALTHCARE experience.
•Bachelor’s degree in Business with emphasis in Materials Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education/experience.
•Two (2) years’ experience in a managerial position.
•Basic Life Support Heartsaver (HS) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire.  
Hours and compensation potential:
•Position is full time
•Range is between $91K-$134K depending on experience.
•Full benefits package including relocation assistance(up to 10K).
What you’ll be doing:
•This position is responsible for providing management and direction for the Materials Management/Purchasing Department and administering personnel, property, and fiscal resources of the department. 
•The Materials Management Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the purchasing, receiving, distribution, and storage functions of the District’s facilities.  
•Establish and maintain good working relations with vendors and service representatives by telephone, electronic, and in-person communications
•Maintain appropriate staffing levels by completing and managing the department’s staffing schedule monthly. Closely monitoring and managing staffing levels to the benchmark FTE Tracker.  Complete electronic payroll by reviewing and approving time and attendance.
•Ensure completion of stickering patient charge inventory prior to distribution within the facility
•Ensure materials management ordering system is being used by Materials and Hospital staff
•Responsible for purchasing equipment, materials, supplies, etc., ensuring efficient operations.  Knowledgeable of and appropriately utilizes GPO contracts.  
•Responsible for inventory control.  
•Review and update departmental policies and procedures. Informs staff of new or changed policies and procedures.  Responsible for department staff meetings.
•Manage the training and development of subordinates through the utilization of performance management.
•Prepares the department budget in a responsible and cost-efficient manner. Identifies department resources and needs. Monitors expenditures in supplies, equipment, and staffing.   Establishes department goals and objectives.
