Corporate Maintenance Planner – Manufacturing
$90,000 - $110,000 / yr
Growing company in business for over 50 years is seeking a CMMS Manager with strong electrical-mechanical maintenance knowledge, CMMS implementation and execution (preferably Maintenance Connections), as well as teaching/training experience. Will manage user training/access and assets to construct and adapt current preventative and predictive maintenance. Will analyze a number of indicators to build metrics and SOPs by studying plant work orders and labor allocation, perform audit compliance, etc. This is a support role that supports Maintenance departments within plants to improve OEE and implement TPM programs.

*Must be willing to travel up to 45% (US & Canada), typically home on weekends even if traveling.
Leads the administration, management, and continuous improvement of the Company’s Computerized Maintenance Management System. Also lends direct support to various manufacturing, corporate, and accounting departments to execute Fixed Asset Recording, participate in Failure Root Cause Analysis (RCA), audit and train on compliance with our Preventative & Corrective Maintenance procedures, and participates in our Strategic Deployment initiatives to reduce unplanned equipment downtime. Finally, instrumental in identifying and partnering with outside companies whose preventative or predictive maintenance technologies can improve company performance.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Lead and provide hands-on support for all users and locations under the Company’s Maintenance program.
o Serve as a Manager of the Company’s CMMS program and liason to hosting partner, Maintenance Connection.
o Routinely develop, enhance, and implement procedures and schedules for various maintenance activities.
o Builds and maintains PM procedures while supporting various Work Order functions.
o Create assets as acquired and ensure accuracy of PM schedules with compliance to Fixed Asset accounting.
o Supports the Company’s Maintenance Program through auditing, training, direction, continuous improvement, and Strategic Deployment.
o Directly support Maintenance & Production teams across the Manufacturing network.
o Supports company Safety program by partnering with locations and Safety resources to implement controls and / or procedures in support of safe work practices.
o Consistently review and identify gaps in maintenance schedule.
o Draft and publish SOPs relative to Maintenance initiatives and practices while training applicable departments.
o Implement PM Programs & initiative relative to maintenance through Continuous Improvement
o Continually identify and sustain beneficial partnerships with predictive service vendors to ensure company has the most effective reliability programs.
o Supports and assists in implementing TPM programs
o Provide tracking and reporting on key initiatives such as special projects, asset history, and various maintenance or equipment related inquiries.
This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:
o Experience in Manufacturing Maintenance
o Operational knowledge of manufacturing best practices, industrial equipment and TPM
o Strong project management skills
o Strong verbal and written communications
o CMMS / maintenance software fluency
o MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and business software.
o Vendor relations with negotiation experience
o Ability develop business case models in support of Capital Investment justification.
o Prefer minimum 2-yr Associates Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Plastics
o Or Equivalent Work Experience
o Read and write Fluently in English
o At least 5 years’ experience in a Maintenance Tech or Engineering role
o At least 5 years in a manufacturing environment
o Work safely in and around plant equipment
o Work within the plant climate conditions
o Less than 45% Travel and typically home on weekends.
