Job Description/Responsibility:

This position is a healthcare insights leadership overlooking Healthcare panels & Healthcare research service revenues for strategic accounts.  The primary responsibility is to enhance client relationship and grow the strategic accounts. This role requires proactive client interactions and business development efforts.

Account Management

·         Develop an extensive knowledge base of strategic/key accounts

·         Establish proactive relationships with decision-makers, recommenders and influencers, within strategic account

·         Proactively work with team members to develop account plans to grow business

·         Implement and execute effective sales and services strategies

·         Lead customer team meetings and communicate regularly with key account team members

Opportunity Management

·         Identify, pursue and close new sales opportunities through the successful interaction with client stakeholders

·         Position firm to win new business within accounts by developing, communicating and driving effective selling strategies

·         Maintain an accurate and documented pipeline of opportunities

·         Continuously gather knowledge of competitors to help design custom solutions for strategic accounts

Strategic Account Leadership

·         Build and lead an effective strategic account team for assigned accounts

·         Lead and participate in internal account team meetings, and communicate with account team members to ensure successful execution of strategy

·         Provide periodic strategic plans and opportunity plans to strategic account team members

Team Collaboration

·         Lead/participate in special projects (i.e. mentoring, training, leadership of projects)

·         Leads the team in engaging and influencing our most strategic and complex customers

·         Demonstrates high professional standards with all business contacts

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from an accredited institution preferred

·         In lieu of a degree, must have ten (10) years of healthcare industry experience, including at least six (6) years of experience in account management role for healthcare market research

·         Must demonstrate the ability to engage and influence customers, utilizing effective questioning to understand customers’ needs

·         Strong healthcare primary market research knowledge is necessary to effectively engage in discussions with all levels of target organization, from C-Suite to business account managers

·         Key competencies include: interpersonal skills, drive, resilience, persuasive skills, teamwork, organization skills and strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Extensive knowledge of US market
