As a Civil Engineer in this company, you will design and plan the production of projects including site layouts, horizontal and vertical control, grading and drainage, paving, and site utilities. You will complete assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures.

Your day to day work will include:

·        Performing engineering calculations supporting relevant site projects

·        Providing onsite construction observation and field verification assessments

·        Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D design/drafting to support design requirements

·        Coordinating with necessary government agencies, client staff, and other professionals to obtain design information and approvals

·        Working with clients to identify engineering and surveying services needed, following up with draft proposals and estimate fees

·        Writing and editing construction specifications as well as engineering reports

·        Tracking bid items, calculating construction bid quantities, and construction costs from plan and specifications

Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

·        Successful completion or willingness to complete the FE exam

·        Experience or familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D
