Chemical Process Engineer – High Purity

Overview (what’s in it for you?):

You will be working at a 200-person plant that produces Medical Grade resins. This facility has doubled their headcount in the past 10 years and will double again within the next few years. There are 3 plants within the area, and you’ll be working at the newest site that currently has 20 employees. This facility is a clean environment and is seeking someone to initially complete validations of new processes. The equipment being used are mixing vessels, pumps, & blades. You’ll have the framework to start off, but you’ll need to be analyzing the operating parameters, deciding how high & low production capacities can be for each machine & process. You’ll finalize validations and technically document every detail. After validation, you’ll be training operators how to run the process and to begin overseeing all the production. Into the future you will be focused on optimization and continuous improvement. New products & mixtures will be implemented into the site as well. Minimum Requirements:

• B.S. Chemical Engineering
• 3+ years engineering experience out of manufacturing
• The following industries will be given priority: chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food additives
• Previous validation experience, cGMP background, and Kaizen is a plus
