Chemical Process and Project Engineer

Description:

This job is based at a facility that supports the sale and engineering of gases for petrochemicals, Biofuels, blast furnaces and food processors. This large site houses research, project engineering, tech service and sales. This person will work in a group of engineers that support the combustion of oxygen. One third of the of the job is travel to customer sites, one third is pilot plant work, and one third of the of the job is process design, specifying new equipment (smaller scale), and overseeing installation and startup. The creative part of this job is developing brand-new technologies for chemical injection techniques, process control techniques, and new equipment designs. An example would be working with application engineers and customers to develop a process to convert clients from natural gas to oxygen.

Requirements:

• B.S. or MS Chemical Engineer as a Process Engineer, or a Development Engineer, or a Project Engineer
• 5+ years out of chemicals, or gasses optimizing chemical processes, designing new processes, and  specifying new equipment, and startup.
