Job Title: Breast Surgeon/General Surgery Breast Specialist
Location: Flowood, Mississippi

Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified and experienced Breast Surgeon/General Surgery Breast Specialist to join our team in Flowood, Mississippi. The ideal candidate must possess a fellowship training in Breast Surgery, with added experience in Oncoplastics being preferred. The successful applicant must demonstrate an excellent work ethic, and be eager to learn and grow with our thriving practice, while maintaining a work-life balance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Evaluate and treat patients with breast diseases or abnormalities
– Perform breast cancer screening and diagnostic tests
– Perform and interpret mammograms, biopsies, and other imaging tests
– Perform surgical procedures, such as mastectomies, lymph node removals, lumpectomies, and reconstructive surgery
– Follow up with patients to monitor their progress
– Educate patients on lifestyle changes, nutrition, and other health-related topics
– Work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
– Use modern technologies and equipment to diagnose and treat breast diseases
– Perform breast cancer screening and diagnostic tests
– Perform and interpret mammograms, biopsies, and other imaging tests
– Perform surgical procedures, such as mastectomies, lymph node removals, lumpectomies, and reconstructive surgery

Qualifications:
– MD or DO degree
– Board certified in Surgery
– Fellowship trained in Breast Surgery
– Current license to practice medicine
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Knowledge of latest medical trends, technologies, and treatments
– Ability to provide quality, evidence-based patient care
– Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
– Board certified in Surgery

Experience and Skills:
– At least 5 years of experience in Medical Oncology
– Proficient in mammography, ultrasonography and other imaging techniques
– Knowledgeable in the use of minimally invasive surgical techniques
– Ability to perform reconstructive breast surgery
– Ability to work with other physicians in a team-oriented environment
