Essential Job Functions:
1. Ensure timely and accurate information (reports and analysis) to enable management to drive the
value of the business.
2. Manage and strengthen relationships with sources of equity and debt financing.
3. Strengthen the structure as well as build and develop the accounting and finance talent.
4. Demonstrate service oriented leadership so that the department provides leadership, support, and
management of financial information to the other areas of organization.
5. Create, coordinate, and evaluate the accounting processes, oversee AR/AP, applicable software
programs, and all information systems in the company including budgeting, tax planning and
support (working with company appointed CPA), GAAP Compliance and conservation of assets.
6. Approve and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management
information systems for the company.
7. Oversee and direct the upgrades to the financial reporting software to ensure minimal business
interruption
8. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial reporting requirements.
9. Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditures, department budgets, mass salary
updates, ledger and account maintenance, and related data entry.
10. Timely closing of Monthly and Annual financials.
11. Provide leadership in analyzing and planning position/headcount control process.
12. Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and
information reports for banks and shareholders.
13. Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures. Management of
annual Audit.
14. Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards.
15. Interact with other Directors or managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives
through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.
16. Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
17. Develop and help direct the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans,
projects, programs, and systems.
18. Assist in obtaining the necessary licenses and insurance required to start or continue operation of
the business.
19. Analyze cash flow, cash management / Treasury, cost controls, and expenses to guide business
leaders. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas.
20. Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and
operating procedures.
21. Serve on planning and policy-making committees.
22. Oversee financial management to include developing financial and budgeting and forecasting

Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting
• CPA strong Plus
• MBA Preferred
• Five+ years’ experience in Financial and accounting leadership required
• Retail or distribution experienced preferred
• Seasoned in building and developing and accounting department
• Strategic planning and presentation skills
• Transformational leadership strong preferred
• Mergers and Acquisition experience preferred
• Problem solver
