Looking for an engineer/equivalent with minimum 5 years of experience in a small to medium sized manufacturing company who is hands on and self-motivated to work as a key member in a Project team. 

About the Role

Drawing and BOM Creation

• Possess strong space-planning skills to work closely with sales, operations and engineering teams
• Proven skills in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Develops a work plan, schedule and logistics required based on the overall project parameters and scope
• Developing for client review and approval final design recommendations, inclusive of space planning and furniture layouts
• Prepares project and product BOM’s
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously at different phases
• Prepare project descriptions and status reports on all assigned projects
• Responsible for ensuring project timelines are met
• Report project status to team in weekly meetings
• Ability to analyze and problem solve effectively
• Coordination of project scope & schedule of deliverables
• Analyze design objectives and spatial requirements
• Strategize on projects and bring forward creative ideas to win customer confidence
• Coordinate and manage final project close out statement

 

Field Support

·         Coordinate with Project Managers for on site visits for all project stages

·         Work with Installers to verify process and quality

·         Communicate with Project and Sales Team on site activities

 

Candidate Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Architectural Engineering

·         3-5 years of experience in Engineering/Drafting

·         Proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks

·         Proven problem solver

·         Track record of customer facing and installation activities

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ability to create documentation

·         A hands-on attitude and willingness to assist a small team wherever needed

·         Plus: Experience with construction or building
