APIgee Architect

We have been engaged to find an APIgee Architect to be part of a fast-paced team designing, developing, testing, integrating and supporting technically innovative solutions for our Fortune 500 customers. Ideal candidates are based in the Atlanta, GA area or willing to relocate and travel occasionally as needed.

The APIgee Architect will ensure improvement of all architectural processes within defined timelines and provide training to all development teams to maintain project deliverables and reduce costs. You will maintain an efficient technical environment for all client services and document all architectural plans and provide support to all business and assemble all system components.

APIgee Architect overview:

• Administer installation and provide support to all documents.
• Design various integration programs and prepare required documents for same and execute various integration platforms.
• Monitor all metadata content for development community and ensure appropriate allocation of all resources.
• Work closely with PMO, Finance, and Project team and resolve gaps.
• Collaborate with other engineers and architects, within online and other parts of EA, to drive guidelines and documentation.
• Closely partner with information security in ensuring all applicable security and compliance standards and requirements are incorporated into service design.
• Conduct architecture, roadmap and planning workshops
• Provide assessment of current state architecture and recommend future state architecture.
• Present this architecture to management in the various functions within the company
• Design various integration programs and prepare required documents for same and execute various integration platforms.

APIgee Architect requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience in a project management role
• Exposure to SOA governance tools such as Globalscpave, APIGEE, Informatica design work for data integration projects
• Must understand the concepts of SOAP and REST services both XML and JSON message formats
• Able to lead the enterprise application integration (EAI) strategy and platform (SOA, EDI, ETL, Data Virtualization ) architecture
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise data integration technologies, ESB (Globalscpate, Apigee, Informatica, Oracle(OIC), Mule, ), other messaging-oriented middleware
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise database technologies like Oracle RAC, SQL Server Enterprise
• Broad understanding of virtualized infrastructure, hosting environments, and cloud services PaaS
• Experience with data caching technologies (Memcached, Coherence, Terracotta)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
