Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and board-certified Acute Care Surgery, Trauma & Surgical Critical Care Specialist to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. This position requires a knowledgeable and highly skilled individual with a comprehensive understanding of the latest advancements in critical care, trauma and surgical procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for trauma and critical care patients

• Perform emergency and elective surgery

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses

• Utilize evidence-based medical and surgical practices

• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed

• Develop and maintain strong patient relations

Qualifications:

• Board-certified in General Surgery with Added Qualifications in Surgical Critical Care

• Current, or ability to obtain, an unrestricted license to practice in Florida

• No history of license to practice being revoked, restricted, or suspended by any professional licensing agency in any state or jurisdiction

• Current, unrestricted DEA registration

Experience and Skills:

• Knowledge of the latest advancements in critical care, trauma and surgical procedures

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
