Job Description:

Our client is hiring for a Accounting Revenue Manager to be a functional leader in the end-to-end revenue accounting process, a trusted advisor in supporting new product introductions and automation projects. You will report to the CFO.


The Revenue Manager will:

  • Manage ME/QE close activities surrounding revenue of all types, accounts receivable, s deferred revenue, account analysis, flux review, and account reconciliations
  • Lead and review monthly with order management the large deals expected to close in the quarter to understand and confirm the expected revenue recognition
  • Challenge the “status quo.” Architect and lead process improvements to refine revenue close, to strike a balance between speed and quality by simplifying procedures, using accruals, estimation, materiality, and peer review
  • Evaluate team resources for cross training and continuity planning
  • Advise the business on the benefits and risks associated with different accounting options and outcomes when ambiguity is involved; provide clarity and lead for decision-making
  • Be one of the key contributors and decision-maker in memo and design documentation for the accounting areas you oversee
  • Collaborate with the broader sales and order management teams to align our practices with accounting policies. Partner with cross functional stakeholders to implement NPIs, new sales programs, process improvement projects and automation projects
  • Close partnership with external auditors on satisfactory completion of PBC deliverables
  • Mentor and develop our staff members, contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture with highest integrity and sense of ownership
  • Perform ad-hoc/special projects and analysis as required


Professional Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or above Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA preferred
  • Big 4 & SaaS industry revenue accounting experience highly desired
  • 8-10 years of progressive work experience in revenue and general accounting, experience in managing a team is a must
  • Excellent working knowledge in ASC 606
  • Hands-on experience with ASC 606 implementation highly desired
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and execute in a fast paced environment with attention to details
  • Team player and effective communicator with all levels of management and cross functional organizations.
  • NetSuite and Salesforce, or any enterprise level systems related experience desired
  • Proficient with MS office tools and Google office suits
  • Experience with Tableau, Snowflake, SQL, large dataset analysis
