Compensation: up to $80k + bonus making the total comp $100k+

Your proficiency will be essential in the precise preparation and thorough review of tax filings, while also nurturing and extending client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Staff Accountants and Project Accountants including answering their technical questions and quality control of their work
  • Serve as a steadfast advocate for small business success by cultivating and maintaining relationships with clients – small business owners.
  • Ensure prompt delivery of services and associated work products.
  • Prepare income tax returns for both businesses and individuals.
  • Proactively and effectively communicate with clients.
  • Address fundamental tax and accounting inquiries pertinent to small businesses.
  • Keep track of and convey clients’ personal tax responsibilities.
  • Implement monthly accounting and tax services for newly onboarded
  • Monitor efficiency and effectiveness of services rendered including ensuring that fees are properly determined, billed, and collected.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-5year experience in a CPA firm working with small business
  • Minimum of 2-5 years experience with QuickBooks and MS Office
  • Minimum of 2-5 years Experience with compilation engagements
  • Minimum of 2-5 years Experience with tax return prep for S Corps and individuals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading by example
  • Experience with Creative Solutions software (UltraTax, etc.) is a huge plus
  • Desire to learn and continuously grow your professional skills
  • Willingness to adhere to the company’s policy and procedures
  • Experience with a smaller CPA firm
  • CPA or strong CPA candidateTax Manager
